Fitness Competitor
Rachel Mulvaney is a 200 hour yoga alliance certified instructor. She also has her personal training certification through NASM. Rachel received her bachelors in Marketing from Missouri State University where she also cheered on their co-ed squad for 4 years.
Fitness and nutrition have always been a very important part of her life, but she just recently decided to make it a career. After being the store manager of a major retail store for 5 years, she decided it was time for a change. She realized that having a fulfilling career that aligned with her passions was the very thing that was missing.
Ms. Mulvaney wants to inspire people to live life to their fullest potential and be the best version of themselves they can be. She believes that this happens when you discover that living a healthy active lifestyle can change your life dramatically and improve how you feel both physically and mentally.
Rachel recently competed on NBC’s hit reality series American Ninja Warrior where she made it further than any girl in her region, missing top 30 by just one spot. While she may have missed qualifying for finals she doesn’t view it as defeat. “This is just one step closer to my goal, she says. I want to get to the top of the warped wall and make it to finals. I want other women to see that being female in a male dominated sport is not a limiting factor but an inspiration.”
Like other women pioneers before her, when others see setbacks, she sees opportunities. Not only is Rachel overcoming obstacles in American Ninja Warrior, but she is helping to break down barriers for the women she helps to inspire. You will definitely see Rachel compete again next year!
