As a Trainer and Performance Specialist, I strive to employ aa system of methods. I've personally been exposed to many different methods and training styles through sports, the military, and fitness. From a coaching standpoint, I try to pull from personal experience as well as professional expertise to deliver the best industry practices to my clients and athletes. So overall as a Master Trainer here at Fit Athletic, I try to coach and deliver a unique blend of the most effective and efficient methods in health, fitness, and performance, specific to my clients' functional needs and long term goals.
Working with clients, I truly enjoy building a firm foundation in both health and fitness. I enjoy goals ranging from everything to help a client to work back up from an injury, to training for peak sports and athletic performance.
For me, there's nothing more motivating than seeing others wanting more for themselves, wanting to better themselves.

If the only thing you're leaving the gym with is sweat on your forehead and an elevated heart rate, then you're wasting your money. My biggest goal in working with clients is to educate them about the process and their body so that one day they can sustain their health and fitness on their own. Health and fitness aren't a one-size-fits-all approach, therefore, it's important to understand why you're doing things and what your body needs to ensure long term success.
As a personal trainer for almost a decade now and 5,000 clients all over the world, I know what it takes to really help someone reach their fitness goals.
Everyone is different, dealing with different limitations, goals, struggles, setbacks, level of commitment and schedules. That being said, I've found success in my profession by really focusing on customizing every single client's trust in me to guide them to their fitness goals, I always give 110% to them. I truly fuel my energy off of seeing my clients succeed, and to me, there is no better feeling as a personal trainer than that.

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from California State University of Chico. I have had an abundance of experience and skills from various gyms and excels at multi-collaborative experiences with Trainers and Physical Therapists allowing myself to have a diverse background in Physical Therapy, Corrective Injury, and Progressional Functionality. My greatest talent is my attention to detail and ability to identify weakness, both of which are necessary to achieve primary functional movement patterns.
With so many choices in training methods, I believe in sticking to the basics and getting really really good at them.
Proper programming and quality of movement are paramount. Empowering someone to get stronger and more confident is what keeps my passion alive year after year, client after client. Being involved in sports my whole life, I love to work with current or former athletes and get them looking and feeling their best. My favorite tools in the gym are barbells, kettlebells, free weights, medicine balls, and anything that gets your hands dirty.
